Qualcomm Reveals new VR Headset for Snapdragon 835 Chip

Qualcomm has announced latest Snapdragon 835 chip. And now Qualcomm introduce new VR Headset for Snapdragon 835 Chip, because company want to introduce devices that will use this Snapdragon 835 Chip. Not only this, company also announced that it will give app developers access to new set of VR tools.




VR headsets will use a new version of Android operating system. But it will use VR interface in future. Moreover, it will include 2560 x 1440 WQHD AMOLED display. It will also 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also have a good two on-board cameras that will provide headset with six degrees of freedom for motion and tracking. Moreover, it also supports Bluetooth amd Wi-Fi and wireless connections.

However, this device also contain gyroscope, accelerometer compass and magnetic compass. It will also provide with two monochromatic VGA global shuttering cameras for eye tracking.
Qualcomm hopes that this VR handset design will help other manufacturers to build designs and to support Snapdragon 835 chips.
As compared to Snapdragon 821,the Snapdragon 835 is 27% fast in performance. Moreover, it also consumes 40% less power than the Snapdragon 821. According to Some experts the next generation chip will be Snapdragon 830. But the company skip the number & move to Snapdragon 835 Chip. There is no reason from the company that’s why they don’t use the number 830. However, Snapdragon 835 chip will surely change the device experience & will make it more faster in performance.

Along with Snapdragon 835 chip, Company also introduces Quick Charge 4.0. With Quick charge capacity, user can use their device for 5 hours only with 5 minutes of charging. As compared to its Quick Charge 3.0, Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 will 20% faster than others.
